Overview

The Field Service Engineer - Equipment Installation at EV Group, Inc. involves the installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic and electromechanical equipment. This role requires a product expert who can implement detailed customer installation plans and provide onsite technical support and training for customers and other engineers.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to ensure satisfaction
  • Perform onsite preventative maintenance and verify operational quality of equipment
  • Conduct start-up, warranty, and service contract activities
  • Troubleshoot and correct process variations on systems
  • Prepare and conduct customer meetings and communicate effectively
  • Maintain equipment logs and submit paperwork on time
  • Travel domestically and internationally, up to 75% of the time

Required skills

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or up to four years of experience
  • Advanced electromechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of statistical process control
  • Ability to identify and solve advanced process-related system problems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Advanced PC skills
