Job Description

Overview

The Field Service Engineer - Equipment Installation at EV Group, Inc. is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic and electromechanical equipment. This role involves acting as a product expert and providing customer training while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through onsite technical support and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical equipment.
  • Train customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Perform onsite preventative maintenance and verify equipment operational quality.
  • Conduct start-up, warranty, and service activities.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment related process problems.
  • Prepare and submit required paperwork and maintain equipment logs.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 75% of the time.

Required skills

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or 4 years of experience in the field.
  • Advanced electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and quality improvement methods.
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of management.
