Job Description

Overview

Team Quality Services Inc is seeking a Field Quality Associate based in Vance, Alabama. This role is critical for ensuring quality and reliability for customers in the automotive sector, acting as a liaison between service locations and their suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with supplier and service location personnel.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier parts for compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement supplier quality performance objectives.
  • Recommend process improvements and corrective action plans to enhance product quality.
  • Rapidly identify, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and service location staff.
  • Document and update notes, audits, and supplier information in software systems.
  • Understand and leverage quality management systems and tools such as ISO, TS 16949, and AIAG Core Tools.
  • Travel to company facilities and customer locations as assigned.

  • Proficiency with measurement gauges
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a manufacturing-related field
  • Preferred: Experience in automotive manufacturing or supplier quality assurance
