Overview

The Field Quality Associate at Team Quality Services Inc plays a crucial role in ensuring high standards of quality and reliability for clients in the automotive sector. This position serves as the primary liaison between service locations and their suppliers, focusing on continuous improvement initiatives and effective resolution of quality-related issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service location personnel.
  • Conduct audits and assessments of supplier parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to establish and implement supplier quality performance objectives.
  • Recommend process improvements and corrective action plans.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues rapidly.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of customer quality issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and staff.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Document and update quality-related information in software systems.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Understanding of quality management systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Proficiency in data analysis and quality analysis tools
  • Familiarity with ISO, TS 16949, and AIAG Core Tools
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or supplier quality assurance
