Overview

The Briar Team is seeking dedicated and reliable Field Laborers for immediate hire to support various construction projects in Lake Monroe, Florida. This full-time position offers competitive pay and numerous benefits, with opportunities for career growth within a family-owned site development company.

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting crew in daily labor tasks
  • Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools
  • Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
  • Removing debris and hazardous materials from site
  • Assembling and dismantling barricades and temporary structures
  • Regulating traffic and erecting traffic signs
  • Digging holes, trenches, and shafts
  • Mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete
  • Using power tools such as concrete saws and jackhammers
  • Following health and safety regulations

Required skills

  • General labor experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
  • Excellent stamina
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to assigned jobsite
  • Familiarity with safety regulations
  • Teamwork and communication skills
