The Field Engineer I at Wayne Brothers Companies plays a crucial role in ensuring that field surveying and quality control align with project designs and requirements. This position involves collaboration with civil and VDC group managers to effectively transfer data for construction and support the mentorship of the civil tech team.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist project teams with GPS interfaces on site, including rover, data collector, base station, and machine control
  • Provide layout, quality control, and data gathering services
  • Communicate effectively with Civil and VDC group supervisors and field engineers
  • Utilize plans to determine project requirements and constraints
  • Review layout for ADA compliance
  • Ensure a safe, accident-free work environment
  • Lead crews and assist with foreman duties
