Overview

The Field Application Engineer at One Stop Systems, Inc. serves as a technical bridge between product development teams and customers, focusing on the integration and adoption of advanced technology products for AI, sensor fusion, and autonomous systems. This role requires providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, and feedback to enhance product functionality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert on product functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to support customer inquiries.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
  • Develop technical documentation and training materials.
  • Communicate customer feedback to R&D teams.
  • Conduct product evaluations and testing for customer scenarios.
  • Support product launches through demos and technical presentations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues with cross-functional teams.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a technical support or applications engineering role.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity.
  • Familiarity with advanced computer architectures.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
