Overview

Airgain Inc. is seeking a motivated Field Application Engineer to support presales for their Network Infrastructure and Vehicle Networking products across the US, primarily focusing on the western region for vehicle applications. This role encompasses technical integration, customer engagement, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance product adoption and resolve integration challenges.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the integration of Airgain technologies into new customer systems
  • Conduct site surveys both remotely and on location
  • Utilize radio planning software to produce installation and coverage plans
  • Set up and support customer-facing demos
  • Gather customer requirements and collaborate with service integrators and channel partners
  • Deliver technical presentations and training to customers
  • Troubleshoot and document field issues
  • Contribute to sales and marketing strategic planning and execution

Required skills

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 3+ years professional technical sales/marketing experience
  • Understanding of RF and wireless communications technologies
  • Experience with vehicle networking products
  • Debugging cell coverage and network infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting base stations and DAS
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Proficient in high-speed data communication test equipment
