Overview

KCI is seeking Fiber Pullers to assist with a large-scale fiber optic installation project in Nashville, TN. This role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the telecommunications industry while working alongside experienced technicians on a commercial construction site.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist fiber technicians and splicers with daily installation activities
  • Spot technicians operating lifts and elevated work platforms
  • Support fiber pulling operations throughout the project
  • Stage, organize, and transport materials throughout the job site
  • Assist with routing fiber through pathways and cable management systems
  • Maintain safe work areas around lifts and installation activities
  • Help load, unload, and distribute materials and equipment
  • Perform general site cleanup and housekeeping
  • Follow directions from project leads and supervisors
  • Adhere to all site safety requirements and procedures

Required skills

  • Dependable and safety-focused

  • Comfortable working around ladders and aerial lifts

  • Reliable transportation
