Overview

Palm Health Resources is seeking an experienced Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant for an ongoing locums contract in Inverness, Florida. This position involves a full continuum of care with responsibilities in the operating room, ICU, and some clinic work, offering a comprehensive experience for the candidate.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in OR, ICU, and clinic settings
  • Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting
  • Manage chest tube placements and IABP
  • Conduct consults, discharges, and rounds in ICU and stepdown units
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including day shifts and on-call duties

Required skills

  • Cardiothoracic surgery experience
  • Endoscopic Vein Harvesting proficiency
  • Patient monitoring skills
  • Emergency care capabilities
  • Experience with clinical consultations
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Ecw
