Overview

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant for a Family Medicine Acute Care role at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Highland Park, California. This full-time position involves providing acute care services in a hybrid telehealth model to an underserved urban population, with a focus on team-based collaboration and community health.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide acute care services in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Conduct telemedicine visits while onsite
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team
  • Serve an underserved, low-income, uninsured, and indigent urban population
  • Handle a patient volume of multiple patients per day

Required skills

  • Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Physician Assistant studies
  • Active California licensure
  • Minimum one year of urgent care experience as a certified provider
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Board certification required
  • Experience with electronic medical records (AmazingCharts, NextGen)
