Amergis Locum Tenens is seeking a Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant for a locum opportunity in Oceanport, New Jersey. The position entails working in an outpatient primary care setting with a focus on geriatric patients, with a schedule from Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in an outpatient primary care setting
  • Manage a patient volume of 10-15 per day
  • Handle on-call duties every third week
  • Collaborate with RN staff who take initial calls

Required skills

  • Board Certified PA (NCCPA)
  • Active New Jersey medical license
  • DEA & BLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of Primary Care experience
  • Familiarity with EMR systems
