Overview

Atlas Search is seeking a Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant to join a community-based healthcare organization in Brooklyn, New York. The role focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population, with a strong preference for candidates fluent in Cantonese to cater to local needs. This full-time position offers a stable weekday schedule without night or weekend obligations.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver routine primary care for patients of varying ages, including health assessments and preventive visits
  • Provide culturally aligned patient education and support for Cantonese-speaking individuals
  • Review diagnostic results and coordinate referrals
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record
  • Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
  • Work closely with nursing staff and care managers to optimize patient outcomes
  • Support walk-in and same-day care needs as appropriate

Required skills

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in New York
