Overview

Protean Med LLC is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their busy Family Medicine primary care practice in Vincennes, Indiana. This role involves providing comprehensive care across all ages in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and diagnose conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages
  • Manage chronic diseases through ongoing care and medication management
  • Collaborate with physicians and care team members for coordinated care
  • Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options
  • Stay current with evidence-based guidelines and clinical practices
  • Maintain a patient-focused approach emphasizing communication and quality outcomes

Required skills

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active and unrestricted Indiana license (NP or PA)
  • Valid DEA, RN/APRN license (for NP) or PA license
  • Strong clinical judgment to manage acute and chronic conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
