Overview

ProTouch Staffing is seeking a dedicated and certified Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients with neurological conditions in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of neurological disorders while participating in patient management and evaluations.

Key responsibilities

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Administer treatments including IV infusions and lumbar punctures
  • Prescribe and manage medications
  • Participate in patient management and ongoing evaluations
  • Review patients' statuses, care plans, lab results, and neuroimaging
  • Prepare patients for spinal or brain surgeries and assist neurosurgeons as needed

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Board-certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Current Alabama medical license and Federal DEA license
  • 1-2 years of experience in Neurology or minimum 3 years in Internal/Family Medicine
