Overview

NOW Healthcare Recruiting is seeking a Spanish-speaking Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician for an outpatient primary care role in the Chicago area. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to serving the Latinx community with a mission-centered approach and is recognized for providing top-quality care.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage ambulatory Family Medicine primary care medical practice
  • Elicit patient histories and perform physical examinations
  • Provide accurate clinical diagnoses and prescribe evidence-based treatments
  • Educate patients regarding their health and treatment options
  • Collaborate effectively with a healthcare team including Medical Assistants, Receptionists, and Care Coordinators

Required skills

  • Spanish proficiency at a score of 7 out of 10 or better
  • Experience with EHR systems
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Understanding of Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model
  • Community engagement and patient management skills
