Overview

Sygnetics Healthcare is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Practice) in Battle Creek, MI, dedicated to providing outpatient medical services for veterans. This position offers a flexible work schedule and an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the veteran community while enjoying the natural beauty and family-friendly attractions of Western Michigan.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluation of new and returning outpatients
  • Prescribing medications as needed
  • Ordering labs, imaging, and other pertinent tests
  • Initial screening of patients to determine eligibility
  • Coordination, evaluation, treatment, and overall medical management for eligible Veterans

Required skills

  • Board Certification or Eligibility
  • Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
  • Active, unrestricted State License in any state
  • Current DEABLS certification
  • AHA certification
  • Experience in outpatient care and veteran care
