Overview

Doral Medical and Multispecialty Facility LLC is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join their team in Brooklyn, New York. The role focuses on providing high-quality patient care within an integrated healthcare setting, emphasizing the well-being of patients and community health.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate, assess, and treat patients' medical conditions
  • Order lab and diagnostic testing and interpret results
  • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality
  • Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information
  • Perform minor procedures
  • Explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients
  • Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals
  • Promote health education with other health professionals
  • Meet government targets for specified treatments
  • Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products
  • Keep up-to-date with medical developments, treatment, and medication
  • Observe and assess the work of trainee doctors and medical students

Required skills

  • Degree in Medicine
  • 5 years of residency training
  • Current state medical license and Federal DEA license
  • Completed U.S. Medical Licensing Examination
  • 5 years of experience as an Internal Medicine or Family Practitioner
