Overview

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position in Key West, Florida. The role is focused on outpatient care with the potential for coverage from ASAP until January 31, 2026, working primarily with patients aged 16 and older.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting
  • Manage a patient volume of approximately 15 per day
  • Perform required procedures, including Pediatric General outpatient care
  • Collaborate with support staff including a medical assistant and office staff
  • Utilize EMR systems, specifically Athena
  • Obtain hospital privileges, either temporary or permanent

Required skills

  • Active Florida License or IMLC
  • Board Certification (BC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in Internal or Family Medicine
  • Proficient in outpatient care and patient management
  • Familiarity with EMR systems
