Job Description

Overview

We are looking for BC/BE Physicians in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics for a locum tenens role in Massachusetts from May to November 2026. The position focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care to PACE participants with a manageable patient panel due to the complexity of cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to PACE participants
  • Manage chronic and acute medical conditions
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Coordinate care with nursing, social work, and therapy staff
  • Document patient encounters in EPIC EMR
  • Deliver care in clinic, home, and/or nursing home settings
  • Manage a dedicated patient panel of 70 patients
  • Provide onsite phone/in-basket coverage and nursing home coverage

Required skills

  • Active Massachusetts license
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
  • Experience with complex geriatric or high-risk populations
  • EMR Documentation
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration
