TAG MedStaffing is seeking a Medical Director specializing in Family Medicine for a leadership role in New York, NY. This position focuses on overseeing clinical operations, mentoring healthcare providers, and ensuring high-quality patient care while managing administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and guidance to physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Deliver comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for patients
  • Analyze medical histories, lab results, and clinical data for quality assurance
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on clinical policies and protocols
  • Lead staff meetings and mentor providers to improve patient outcomes

Required skills

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in clinical management
  • Proficiency in eClinicalWorks EMR and related healthcare technologies
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with a patient-centered approach

What the company offers

  • $220,000 to $240,000 per year
  • Monday to Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
