Overview

Cinqcare is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specializing in Women's Health and capable of addressing primary care concerns. This role involves engaging with underserved populations and providing comprehensive care that encompasses gynecological and maternal health, along with chronic disease management, in a community-centered practice committed to high-quality health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive well-woman exams and preventive screenings
  • Provide contraceptive counseling and insertion of long-acting contraception
  • Manage perinatal care, including pregnancy confirmation and fetal monitoring
  • Diagnose and treat STIs; provide intimacy and sexual health counseling
  • Perform specialized procedures such as Pap smears and biopsies
  • Address primary care concerns during women's health visits
  • Implement individualized care plans for chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes
  • Engage in care coordination in clinic and home settings
  • Collaborate with specialists for seamless care delivery
  • Screen for domestic violence and social determinants of health
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system

Required skills

  • Current RN license in New York State
  • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • National certification as an NP by AANP or ANCC
  • Completion of pharmacology coursework and valid DEA registration
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience with underserved populations
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy and basic office procedures
  • Fluency in a second language preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong clinical judgment and ethical standards
