Overview

Provider Healthcare is seeking an experienced Family Medicine physician to serve as the Family Medicine Residency Program Director in San Bernardino, California. This full-time position involves leadership and administrative oversight of the residency program, with a strong emphasis on patient care, mentoring residents, and curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve residency program outcomes through leadership and administrative oversight.
  • Ensure program accreditation compliance with ACGME requirements.
  • Develop and improve a comprehensive Family Medicine curriculum.
  • Mentor residency faculty and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Cultivate a psychologically safe environment for residents.
  • Manage residency program budget and resources.
  • Establish partnerships with community organizations and teaching institutions.
  • Create written Annual Program Evaluation reports.
  • Select and oversee site directors for educational components.
  • Participate in professional development and scholarly activities.

Required skills

  • Valid and unrestricted medical license from California
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
  • Board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine
  • 3-5 years of Family Medicine educational and/or administrative experience
  • Experience as a Director, Associate Director, Site Director, or Core Faculty
