Your ideas and practical experience will influence how the firm develops its systems and serves clients as it grows.Compensation:$32 per hour plus performance bonusesResponsibilities: What You'll Do Manage divorce and family law files from intake through resolution, keeping deadlines, documents, and next steps organizedDraft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, net worth statements, uncontested divorce packets, and other family law documentsCollect and organize financial records, discovery materials, and exhibitsIdentify missing information and follow up proactively so matters continue movingPrepare documents and case materials for court conferences, hearings, negotiations, and trialHandle electronic filing through NYSCEF and EDDSTrack court dates, filing deadlines, adjournments, discovery obligations, and follow-up tasksCommunicate professionally and compassionately with clients while maintaining appropriate boundariesCommunicate with courts, opposing counsel, attorneys for children, experts, and other third partiesCoordinate document execution, notarization, filing, and serviceHelp improve templates, checklists, workflows, and internal systems Qualifications: What We're Looking For At least 3 years of hands-on New York family law experienceExperience working with divorce, custody, child support, and related family law mattersAbility to manage active files and recognize what needs to happen nextStrong experience drafting family law documents and professional correspondenceExceptional organization, follow-through, and attention to detailCalm and professional communication, including with clients under stressSound judgment and the confidence to ask questionsDependability and a consistent full-time, in-office presenceComfort with timekeeping, billable-hour expectations, and measurable performance standardsExperience with Clio, Family Law Software, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Asana, or similar technology is preferredWillingness to learn new systems and contribute ideas for improving how the firm operatesAbout UsWe're building a high-performance divorce and family law firm designed to help people move from chaos to clarity, toward fairness, stability, and new beginnings.
