Overview

We're looking for a detail-oriented, experienced, and bilingual family law paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. You'll draft legal documents such as affidavits, motions, and pleadings, and conduct legal research for trial preparation. You will keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. If you're interested in advancing your paralegal career with opportunities for growth, we want to hear from you.Compensation:$50,000 - $85,000 annuallyResponsibilities:Organize electronic case files to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and perform other administrative duties as neededAssist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence, including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavitsConduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issuesDraft subpoenas and coordinate with process serversHelp lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnessesQualifications:Minimum of three years as a family law paralegal in ArizonaTalented communicator and writer3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm settingABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies; Bachelor's degree desiredCandidates should possess high-level organizational skills and time-management skillsAbout CompanyModern Law is a launchpad for ambitious professionals.
