NY Creates also runs some of the most advanced facilities in the world, boasts more than 3,000 industry experts and faculty, and manages public and private investments of approximately $25 billion - placing it at the global epicenter of high-tech innovation and commercialization. 60;Job Description: 60;Position Summary, Facility CAD Specialist- Support Staff IVNY Creates is seeking a Facility CAD Specialist - Support Staff IV to support Facilities Engineering through maintaining accurate CAD drawings, integrating as-built data, and managing critical documentation. This role collaborates with architects, engineers, and internal teams to keep project records organized and drawings accessible, playing a key part in advancing innovative facility projects. 60;Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain, via CAD, building layout drawings to keep current. Will take Project As- Built documents and integrate into site master layout drawings.Maintaining an automated / manual Document File Retrieval System that houses both facility and tenant documents.Organization of all documentation and records from previous projects by performing necessary clerical work, which includes data entry, sorting, filing and electronically binding.Coordination of documentation needed by off-site Architects / Engineers for the completion of any new design criteria. Assisting with distribution of drawing documentation to facilities engineering / field coordinators.Assisting with support for all NY Creates Departments to provide drawings for new facility modifications and archived data for the review of existing conditions.Maintaining organized, clean documentation for tool install packages and ability to retrieve those documents upon request. Maintaining current overall tool layout drawings in conjunction with Tool Install CM / Design companies.Maintaining strong organizational skills with the ability to perform a variety of tasks on short notice. Proficient use of any new software, provide guidance & research related to software which department may need to embrace to remain current with industry standards.Assist to maintain printing capabilities are kept current and operational.Support Facilities Engineering with CAD design as directed by engineers.Teach and further develop NY Creates facility drawing standards. Review submissions for standards accuracy and provide feedback to engineers and firms.Responsible for project closeout quality assurance/quality control. 60;Periodically review documentation in project files. 60;Assist with coordination of Closeout Documents between General Contractor and NY Creates.Work with the Project Manager to upload missing documentation.Complete project closeout QA/QC documentation to ensure NY Creates has a complete set of as-built data and for contractor to receive final payment. 60;Other reasonable duties as assigned. 60;Requirements: 60;Minimum Qualifications, Facility CAD Specialist - Support Staff IVAssociates Degree in CAD design or related field from a technical school, college, or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organizationA minimum of 5 years of experience as a CAD trained individual in the facilities engineering organization of a major semiconductor manufacturer or with a supplier to the semiconductor industry.Understanding of CAD design symbology, drafting techniques for respective disciplines required.Experience with Revit and/or other BIM software. 60;This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.Don't meet every requirement?
