Overview

The Facility Administrator for the Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) provides overall administrative and operational leadership, managing compliance with state and county requirements while overseeing daily operations. The role includes supervising program managers and direct care supervisors, ensuring trauma-informed care is delivered to children and youth, and acting as the primary contact with community care licensing and placing agencies.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to on-site managers and direct care supervisors
  • Ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations and STRTP Interim Licensing Standards
  • Serve as the facility's primary contact with community care licensing and county placing agencies
  • Monitor staffing patterns and ensure staff training and personnel file requirements are met
  • Oversee daily program operations and performance improvement
  • Collaborate with fiscal team in budget planning and procurement oversight
  • Respond to complaints, incidents, and licensing deficiencies
  • Support community outreach and placement census goals
  • Implement trauma-informed, culturally responsive policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent experience
  • Administrative experience in a licensed group home or STRTP
  • Supervisory experience in child welfare or behavioral health settings
  • Ability to interpret and manage budgets
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Compliance with health screening and background clearances
  • Valid driver's license
