Overview

Comhar Inc. is looking for a reliable and skilled Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and functionality of their facilities in Philadelphia. The role involves routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to maintain a safe and well-operating environment for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential homes and office buildings, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building systems.
  • Diagnose issues and determine efficient resolutions.
  • Manage work requests via Maintenance Connection and update work order statuses.
  • Participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call service for emergency maintenance.
  • Maintain a company-provided vehicle and tools, ensuring cleanliness and good working condition.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and local building codes during maintenance activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience
  • Technical school or trade certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing (preferred)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Current Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
  • Experience with work order management and maintenance software
