Overview

Comhar Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Technician to maintain the safety and functionality of their facilities in Philadelphia. The role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across various systems to ensure a well-operating environment for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential homes and office buildings including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Diagnose issues and determine effective resolutions.
  • Manage work orders using Maintenance Connection and ensure timely completion.
  • Participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call service for emergency maintenance requests.
  • Maintain a company-provided vehicle and tools, ensuring they are clean and in good condition.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Driver's License with satisfactory driving record
  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience
  • Basic plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, and carpentry skills
  • Technical school or trade certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
