Job Description

Overview

The Facilities Supervisor at Northeast Aero Compressor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a 55,000 square foot FAA Part 145 certified repair station. This hands-on role includes managing preventive maintenance, overseeing building systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance program for facility systems and equipment
  • Create and maintain maintenance logs, service records, and equipment histories
  • Schedule and coordinate third-party service vendors for inspections and overhaul work
  • Perform routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, and building systems
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and organization, including oversight of a commercial cleaning company
  • Oversee HVAC units, plumbing, lighting systems, and perform repairs as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, OSHA, and EPA standards

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining heavy industrial machinery and facility systems
  • Hands-on experience with compressed air systems, industrial generators, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
  • Experience managing outside vendors or cleaning contractors
  • Familiarity with FAA certificated repair station environments preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or trade certification preferred
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification preferred or willingness to obtain
