Facilities Maintenance Technician Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping spaces running smoothly and looking their best? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operations of our professional office environment. What You'll Do In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming space by: Performing general handyperson tasks, including basic repairs and small fixes across office and common areas Supporting office moves, reconfigurations, and hoteling setups, including furniture installation, removal, and adjustments Coordinating and managing facility requests through a work order and ticketing system to ensure timely completion Building, repairing, and maintaining office furniture using hand tools and small power tools Assisting with event setups-arranging furniture and collaborating with IT, office managers, and event teams to deliver seamless events Maintaining and improving various areas including offices, conference spaces, storage rooms, and shared workspaces Hanging whiteboards, glass boards, artwork, and office displays with precision Monitoring vendor performance (janitorial, painting, etc.) to ensure quality standards are met What We're Looking For Strong hands-on skills with tools and basic repair work Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks effectively Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities Experience in facilities, maintenance, or office support environments preferred Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on facilities experience Ability to lift 50lbs, work on your feet approximately 90% of the time, climbing up and down stairs Excellent communication skills About the Opportunity Duration: approx. 6+ months Metro: Farragut North Onsite, M-F, 8a-5p (with 1 hour unpaid lunch) Pay: $32-34/hr If this role is of interest to you and you meet the qualifications - please apply!
