Vivalon is looking for a Facilities Assistant! This role will be responsible for the janitorial needs of Vivalon's San Rafael facilities. Duties will include daily cleaning of our facilities, event set up/break down, and some monthly maintenance activities. Requirements Performs basic custodial-related duties necessary to maintain cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and necessary upkeep for all of our locations as needed.Prepare for setups for room usage. As the day proceeds, additional set-ups and take-downs in various rooms may be needed.Monitor restrooms throughout the day. As needed - clean, wash, and sanitize; replenish all paper and soap dispensers. Monitor trash receptacles in shared areas throughout the day: empty & remove trash, replace liners, wash/sanitize trash receptacles if needed. Trash pickup inside and outside of the Healthy Aging Center.Monitor and clean meeting rooms and any other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing as directed. Operates wet/dry vacuum for cleaning when necessary.Report health and safety hazards to the Facilities Supervisor. Qualifications: Experience or interest in facilities work is desired. Ability to perform custodial-related duties to a high standard Basic knowledge of various janitorial supplies, equipment, and methods Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance) Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.Compensation and Benefits:$22-$24 hourly (depending on experience)We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, chiropractic, life, retirement, paid time off and holidays, and more.Compensation details: 22-24 Hourly WagePI6eb0a3498c26-7183
