Overview

The Export Control Compliance Manager at Bosch will lead strategic policy-making in export controls and sanctions law, ensuring compliance across the Robert Bosch network. This role serves as an extension of the global team, focusing on the Home Comfort sector and potentially other entities in the U.S., while driving efforts to enhance risk management and policy adherence.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement and supervise the regional Export Controls Officer group
  • Develop strategic policies considering current and future export controls and sanction laws
  • Implement effective risk management strategies for the region
  • Define mandatory controls and checks
  • Support continuous improvement of standardization and efficiency
  • Enable business adherence to policies and directives

Required skills

  • 11+ years of experience in export controls
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of North American export control experience
  • In-depth knowledge of sanctions and export control laws in North America
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in creating and delivering effective training
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong internal audit skills
  • Continuous learner with research interest
  • Knowledge of sanctions and export control laws in the EU & UN is preferred
