Overview

The Export Control Compliance Manager at Bosch Group will take on a strategic role in developing and implementing export controls and sanctions law policies within the organization. This position will serve as an extension of the global team, ensuring compliance and risk management across the US region, with responsibilities primarily focused on Home Comfort and potentially other Bosch entities.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement and supervise the regional Export Controls Officer group
  • Develop strategic policies considering current and future export controls and sanctions laws
  • Implement effective risk management practices for the region
  • Define mandatory controls and checks to ensure compliance
  • Support continuous improvement in standardization and efficiency
  • Deliver effective training on export controls and compliance

Required skills

  • 11+ years of experience in export controls; Associate or Bachelor's Degree
  • In-depth knowledge of North American sanctions and export control laws (EAR and OFAC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in creating and delivering training
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Internal auditing skills
  • Knowledge of EU & UN sanctions and export control laws
  • Ability to coordinate activities and collaborate across groups
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
