Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join as Tax Experts - Retail On-Site at TurboTax locations throughout the United States. This seasonal role combines tax expertise with community outreach, where you'll assist customers with their tax needs while fostering long-term relationships to promote TurboTax services.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with prospects and convert them into long-term clients through proactive outreach.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax return preparation services.
  • Facilitate tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients.
  • Interact with customers in-person and virtually using Intuit's communication tools.

Required skills

  • Active credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Ability to work a flexible 25-34 hour schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
