Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join as Tax Experts - Retail On-Site in TurboTax locations across the U.S. on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement, helping customers navigate their tax needs and supporting Intuit's mission of 'Powering Prosperity Around the World.' Tax Experts will serve clients in-person and virtually, leveraging TurboTax products to provide comprehensive tax return preparation and advice.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax locally and engage with potential customers.
  • Nurture leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to optimize deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest.
  • Interact with customers using both in-person and virtual communication tools.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Familiarity with tax laws and Circular 230.
  • Flexible availability for a 25-34 hour weekly schedule.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
