Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Tax Experts - Retail On-Site in new TurboTax locations across the U.S. This seasonal role combines tax expertise with community engagement, focusing on customer outreach and building lasting relationships to help clients navigate their tax needs. The Tax Expert will work directly with customers, providing tax preparation and advice, while supporting Intuit's mission of empowering prosperous financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally
  • Engage with prospects and convert leads into long-term clients through proactive outreach
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for TurboTax clients
  • Facilitate tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice
  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with a focus on building trust
  • Interact with customers in-person and via video communication tools

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential
  • Strong experience in tax preparation and knowledge of tax laws
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience filing 50 or more 1040 tax returns per season
  • Proficient in professional tax preparation software
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient with technology, including CRM and sales tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
