Overview

Intuit is looking for dedicated Tax Experts to join their TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This role emphasizes tax expertise and community engagement, as Tax Experts empower customers to navigate their tax needs and achieve financial success while growing TurboTax's client base in the local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax and engaging with prospects to convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide tax expertise by offering hands-on tax advice and preparation services for various tax situations.
  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to identify deductions and provide tax planning advice.
  • Utilize marketing support and software to drive customer engagement and loyalty.

Required skills

  • Active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney) with strong tax preparation experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual tax returns per season
  • Proficiency with professional tax preparation software and CRM tools
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
