Overview

Intuit is seeking motivated Tax Experts to join their team in TurboTax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This role combines tax expertise with community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs while establishing long-term client relationships and driving customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax locally and engage with new prospects to convert them into long-term clients
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare tax returns for various tax situations
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide tax planning advice
  • Create exceptional customer experiences and build trust with clients
  • Communicate with customers both in-person and virtually using TurboTax tools
  • Demonstrate a passion for the community and promote TurboTax through local events and outreach

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience
  • Experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
