Job Description

Overview

The Experienced Robotic Welder Programmer for Miller or Lincoln welding systems will create, test, and optimize robotic welding programs to meet production goals while ensuring quality and safety standards. The role involves collaboration with engineering, maintenance of robotic systems, and documentation of processes and quality control.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and implement robot welding programs using Fanuc, Copilot, or Panda Suite software
  • Adjust welding parameters to maximize weld quality and efficiency
  • Coordinate front-end reach reviews and manage robot downloads
  • Create setup sheets and technical documentation for robotic applications
  • Inspect finished parts for adherence to specifications and blueprints
  • Perform preventative maintenance on robotic cells
  • Diagnose and resolve minor issues during production related to robots and welding quality
  • Touch up welds as needed using Mig welding skills
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report near-misses

Required skills

  • Robotics programming experience
  • Mig welding experience
  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Copilot or Panda Suite software
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance
  • Solid communication skills in English
