Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotic Welder Programmer to join our innovative manufacturing team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves programming and optimizing robotic welding systems, specifically FANUC and Miller or Lincoln systems, while enhancing production efficiency through mechanical troubleshooting and process improvement in a fast-paced environment committed to lean manufacturing principles.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and implement robot programs for welding using Fanuc, Copilot or Panda Suite software
  • Adjust welding parameters to maximize weld quality, consistency, and cycle times
  • Coordinate engineering collaboration for front-end reach reviews and system integration
  • Create setup sheets, procedures, and technical documentation for robotic applications
  • Inspect finished parts for adherence to blueprints and customer specifications
  • Perform preventative maintenance on robotic cells and maintain program records
  • Diagnose and resolve minor robot, fixture, or weld quality issues during production
  • Touch up welds as needed using MIG welding skills
  • Strictly follow safety protocols and ensure proper safety equipment usage
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Required skills

  • Degree in Mechanical or Robotics Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years in robotics and MIG welding applications
  • Experience with Fanuc, Copilot or Panda Suite Software
  • Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
  • Ability to work the assigned shifts (Monday - Friday 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM or 7 AM - 3:30 PM)
