Our practice provides a broad array of ophthalmology, optometry, optical, and plastic surgery services. (This is not a remote position, on-site presence is required) Duties & Responsibilities: Working insurance and patient A/RPosting insurance paymentsDaily billing: HMO, Medicare, PPO, visionAnswer phones, address patient billing questions and resolveFollow daily task, and manage time appropriatelyPM22 Requirements: Requirements:1.Team player and willing to share all applicable knowledge2. The ability to work independently, and confident 3. Minimum 3 years experience with Optical billing (required)4. Knowledge of how PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal & Medicare works5. Understand medical benefits, and how to verify and calculate benefits 6. Experience with Nextgen software (preferable)7. Customer service oriented.
