Overview

LifeTree Lending, LLC is looking for an Experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to facilitate the mortgage process for clients. This role involves working collaboratively with borrowers and lenders to ensure smooth progression from application to closing, primarily based in Mount Pleasant, SC, with some remote work options.

Key responsibilities

  • Interview applicants to gather financial information and determine eligibility
  • Assist applicants in selecting the most suitable mortgage option
  • Review and verify loan documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Submit complete loan files to underwriting
  • Ensure all loans meet federal and state banking regulations
  • Maintain strong communication between all parties to achieve on-time closings
  • Process mortgage applications across LifeTree's licensed states

Required skills

  • 4+ years of recent mortgage processing experience
  • Proven background in finance or mortgage lending
  • Proficiency in loan origination systems and Microsoft Office (especially Outlook)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
  • Experience partnering with Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs)
