Overview

As an Experienced Low Observables Mission Systems Integration Engineer at Boeing, you will support the design and analysis of stealth and low-signature systems. This role involves conducting material and structural design, performing electromagnetic analyses, and producing technical documentation, all while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform design and analysis tasks for low observable materials and coatings.
  • Develop and validate low observable integration concepts for aircraft and vehicle structures.
  • Use computational electromagnetic solvers to model and optimize low observable components.
  • Conduct sensitivity studies and trade-offs to meet system-level requirements.
  • Process and analyze test data from laboratory and flight tests.
  • Produce detailed analysis reports and technical documentation.
  • Communicate technical results to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support manufacturing and test engineering to maintain design integrity.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • 2 years of experience with low observable integration and design
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic principles
  • Proficiency in computational electromagnetic solvers (e.g., ANSYS HFSS, CST Microwave Studio)
  • Data processing and analysis skills using tools like Python and MATLAB
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Experience with material characterization techniques
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes for low observable coatings
