Overview

Hot & Cold Equipment Services is looking for an experienced HVACR Technician to join their team in Dallas, Georgia. The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems for both commercial and residential clients. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused and customer-oriented, and they will work independently while ensuring high-quality service.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Install new HVACR equipment per manufacturer specs and local codes.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Perform brazing, piping, wiring, refrigerant recovery/changing, and system balancing.
  • Complete work orders, and communicate status with dispatch and customers.
  • Follow safety protocols, maintain clean work areas, and use PPE.
  • Provide clear, professional customer interaction and explain repairs/recommendations.

Required skills

  • 5 years of hands-on HVACR field experience
  • EPA Section 608 certification (Universal)
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with refrigerants, recovery equipment, and leak detection
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and time-management skills
