Overview

State Fire is looking for experienced fire alarm technicians to join their team in Boise, Idaho. With a focus on fire protection services, the company emphasizes safety, professional development, and inclusivity within a growing regional business.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and service of fire alarm systems
  • Respond to and assess emergency service or warranty calls
  • Maintain daily safety paperwork, including Field Level Risk Assessments and job site inspections
  • Lead or collaborate with subcontractors to complete projects efficiently
  • Maintain relationships with Project Managers, Property Managers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Travel to other states as workload requires
  • Ensure clean, safe, and productive work environments on all job sites

Required skills

  • NICET Level 1 or equivalent certification (or higher)
  • Idaho Limited Energy License or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • 2+ years of low voltage field experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Skilled in trade-specific tools and equipment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in English
