Exacta Land Surveyors LLC is seeking an Experienced Field Crew Chief for residential land surveying in Vero Beach, Florida. The role involves using various surveying equipment outdoors to determine elevations and property boundaries while maintaining quality data and equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Use surveying equipment including GPS, total stations, and data collectors
  • Perform calculations to complete surveys accurately
  • Maintain quality of survey data in the field
  • Cut and clear brush and trees from the survey line
  • Maintain equipment and vehicle, ensuring proper supplies
  • Resolve customer issues professionally and promptly
  • Establish effective working relationships with team members and clients

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of experience in surveying
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
  • Proficient in using surveying instruments and software
  • Knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and geometry
