Overview

Exacta Land Surveyors LLC is seeking an Experienced Field Crew Chief to play a crucial role in residential boundary land surveying. The position involves using various surveying equipment and ensuring accurate and timely survey data collection while working in diverse outdoor conditions, servicing the Cleveland, OH area.

Key responsibilities

  • Use surveying equipment like GPS, total stations, and data collectors for boundary determination.
  • Perform outdoor surveying tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Download and upload survey data to the appropriate files.
  • Mark points of measurement for title surveys and elevation certificates.
  • Maintain equipment and vehicle, ensuring proper supplies are available.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve internal and external customer issues professionally.
  • Establish effective working relationships with team members and clients.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years of job-related experience in surveying
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and understand geometry
  • Proficiency in using survey instruments and job-related software
