Job Description

Overview

The H&K Group is seeking an Experienced Excavator Operator for their Pottstown Division. The role requires a motivated individual who can operate heavy equipment safely while providing excellent customer service on site. Competitive salary and great benefits are offered to qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections of equipment
  • Operate heavy equipment including excavators
  • Maintain haul roads and stockpiles to ensure safety
  • Provide excellent customer service to site customers
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of related experience or training
  • Experience operating bulldozers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed
  • Physical capability to meet job requirements
