Job Description

Overview

The H&K Group is seeking an Experienced Dozer Operator for their Pottstown Division. Ideal candidates are energetic and motivated individuals with a focus on safety and customer service. This role will involve operating heavy equipment and maintaining safe site conditions.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Conduct pre and post trip inspections of equipment
  • Operate bulldozer and other heavy equipment safely
  • Provide excellent customer service on site
  • Maintain smooth and safe haul roads
  • Ensure proper blending of products
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience operating bulldozer
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE
  • Ability to meet physical requirements for the job
  • 3 years related experience preferred
  • Experience in quarry or heavy civil construction setting preferred
  • MSHA or relevant safety certification preferred
